Born in Cuba, Richard’s drumming was forged in the layered, syncopated pulse of Afro-Latino rhythms.

 

By age 12 he had his first kit, and he was already powering bands from college stages in California to clubs in New York City. After a successful hiatus raising a family and running ad agencies in NYC and Chicago, he came roaring back to music, forming Exit Ramp and Soul Daddy — powerhouse bands that lit up clubs and private events across the metro NYC scene.
